Dear Graham Nearn relatives and friends
The news crossed the Channel. It is with great sadness that we hear of the loss of Mr Graham Nearn on Saturday October 24th.
Sevener, as an association gathering french speaking owners of the Seven car, and particularly Caterham, would like to pass on their deepest heart felt sympathies and support at such a time to the whole Nearn family.
Passion and enthusiasm lied in Graham and he was one able to transform his passion and experience into this wonderful car, we all enjoy so much, and make it last so long through time.
Rest in Peace. As long as a seven runs in this world, a hand on the wheel, someone will have a thankfull thought for you.

J'ai également un souvenir de cet homme accessible et passionné qui est venu saluer la French Team à Norfolk.
Il a pris le temps de nous serrer la main et d'échanger un mot avec chacun d'entre nous. Je pense que ça nous a tous marqué

Une vie de passion autour de la Seven. Bravo Graham
RIP.
Je l'ai rencontré en 85, disponible, intéressant et passionné. Il m'avait fait essayer une 1700 HPC. Je me souviens qu'il m'avait évoqué les difficultés d'homologuer et d'importer des cat en France! Son fils faisait ses études d'ingénieur à Grenoble et ils essayaient de développer le marché en France.
Pensées pour la famille.

Chap3 aurait presque pu écrire un petit poème dont il a le secret .

J'ai le plaisir de vous transmettre la réponse que j'ai recu de Caterham UK par la voix de David Ridley suite au petit mot que nous leur avons adressé au nom des membres de Sevener. Il transmettra à la famille de Graham.

Thank you for your email and the kind words of your members on the forum. Graham's passing is very sad indeed and I remember speaking with him only a few weeks ago at the factory and he seemed in good health so it is shocking news.
All of us that share his passion for the Seven owe him a great debt for becoming the "custodian of a legend" and keeping the car alive for so long. I had the great pleasure to have worked for Graham and will always be grateful for what he did for the British car industry as if it were not for him I would not be in this job now!
I will be sure to pass on your kind thoughts to the Nearn family.

La réponse de Mr Rideley est vraiment sympa et très rapide en même temps.
La continuité de l'Esprit Seven est bel et bien assurée.
Je rejoins Xflow pour dire Bravo à Sevener.

Il faut dire que les contacts entre Sevener et Caterham UK (et surtout David Ridley) sont nombreux, surtout grâce à Florent. Caterham UK transmet régulièrement des documents à Sevener pour traduction, et David est inscrit parmi nous.
Ça fait quelque part partie de la reconnaissance du sérieux et de la portée de Sevener, et de travail que nous faisons, il n'y a donc pas de mal à le préciser.
