Help revision jantes 3 parties...

Il me semble l'un d'entre nous a posté quelque chose sur la revision des jantes 3 parties....
J'ai un jeu de vieilles compomotive turbo à refaire....j'ai appelé en uk et laissé un e mail...mais le temps qu'ils repondent....qui peut me donner des conseils:
Est ce que quelqu'un non professionnel mais minutieux peut se lancer dans la refection renovation de jantes 3 parties...?
Si oui ou s'achete le kit , joint(s) et pâte à joint...
Si non qui en france sait faire ça....

Sur mes Revolution 3 parties c'est le garagiste du coin, absolument pas spécialiste, qui me l'a fait.
On s'est rendu compte d'une fuite suite au montage de pneus neufs, fuite au niveau de la partie démontable, et il m'a refait ça nickel.
Donc à priori pas compliqué

Vu un article il y a quelques années sur les magazine Alpine : pour assurer l'étancheité , le gars prenait une chambre à air qu'il découpait au gabarit de la jante et ensuite il faisait les trous à l'emporte pièces.
Le risque commun avec la colle à pare brise :le plus dur est de poser bien à plat la partie démontable et bien serrer de façon uniforme.

Thierry, j'ai monté mes Force Racing selon les recommandations de Carl avec du silicone de qualité (qu'il m'a fourni).
Les voiles de jantes doivent être nettoyés à l'acétone et les jantes remontées avant de faire l'étanchéité.
Il recommande 2 passages de silicone à 24h d'intervale.

Voici le mode d'emploi qu'il m'a fourni :

" the 16no M6 bolts should be torqued to 9lbs ft ,

if the centres are a little tight to fit in the rims ,warm the rims up with a hair dryer ,they will expand a little and the centre will drop in,

Once all the 16 bolts are fitted and tight,[torque setting 8-9 lbs ft]

you need to clean the joint with solvent or cellulose thinners to clean of any polishing wax so the silicone will adhere properly,

apply standard thinners on kitchen roll or clean cloth, and wipe in one direction turning cloth frequently , more thinners[not dripping wet] until the cloth is clean, ish

leave to dry, use hairdryer to speed this up

apply the silicone with a thin nozzle about 4mm hole cut at an angle, run it around the joint but leave a 6mm gap where it meets the beginning, then run finger around joint starting at beginning of silicone run,

when you get to end you will force excess silicone into the gap you left ,

check the silicone bead for a small air bubble , there will only be one if there is any, if you see small lump in the joint it will be a bubble, poke it out with a small screwdriver and apply a small amount of silicone over it,

leave 24hrs, then apply second layer over the first , leave 24 hours to cure again,

when fitting tyres be carefull that the tyre does not trap on the valve , the tyre must be kept pushed vertically down into the bottom of the tyre well so it can fit over the rim on the opposite side,

do not apply silicone between the faces. "
